According to new data from LinkedIn the most common names for female CEOs are Deborah, Sally and then Debra. LinkedIn compiled the data using lists based on profiles of its more than 1 million members.
The data showed that women in these top positions did not use more causal, shortened versions of their names unlike male CEOs whose top names included Bob (short for Robert), Jack (usually short for John) and Bill (short for William).
According to career strategists, women want to present a more formal appearance in the workplace while men look at a nickname as a way to present a more casual front and accessibility.
