As social media is taking over as the way to network, it’s important to get all your ducks in a row. While some choose Twitter and Facebook as their essential means of online networking, others have opted for the LinkedIn route. I sometimes wonder if this is a choice based on generation. Although almost everyone within my age bracket, and above are on LinkedIn, I’ve found it’s the older crowd that uses it far more frequently. It just seems to have a more businesslike feel to it than Facebook. Perhaps we can blame Mark Zuckerberg’s youth on this.
