Bethenny Frankel has beat out Angelina Jolie and supermodel Gisele Bundchen as the top-earning celebrity mom, according to Forbes. She captured this spot with her $55 million in earnings for the May 2010 – May 2011 period. She sold Skinnygirl to Fortune Brands for $120 million and she is rapidly turning her business into an empire. In addition to her career as a best-selling writer she is branching out into skin, clothing and health products and has already started developing her new talk show. Plus, Skinnygirl is the number one fastest growing spirits brand in the U.S.
“There are a lot of numbers being tossed out there,” Bethenny told Access Hollywood. “To be perfectly honest, I’m not that great at math and I don’t really look at my bank account that much. Forbes usually gets things at least close to right. I mean, they are Forbes.” Gisele and Judge Judy Sheindlin tied for second on Forbes’ list with $45 million, author Danielle Steel took fourth with $35 million and tied in fifth place were Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker with $30 million each. Though Bethenny did beat out Angelina Jolie, she still thinks the actress has won in some ways. “Look, she’s sleeping with Brad Pitt. You know what I mean? She wins!” Frankel said.
