5 Key Lessons For Female Leaders In The Technology Industry

There are not enough women in technology. Technology companies are dominated by men. Little girls are taught to hate technology. We hear these things day after day and it is getting boring. Yes, women are only earning 18% of computer science degrees but there are women who are making it in technology, besides superstars Marissa Mayer and Sheryl Sandberg. It gets depressing to hear how we aren’t getting ahead which is why it was so refreshing to see Penny Herscher, CEO of research applications provider, First Rain, share her thoughts on how to be a female leader in the technology space with The Huffington Post. Herscher acknowledges that it is a male dominated industry but she has climbed the ladder and become a leader so you may want to listen up.
