Today was Regis Philbin’s last day on the set of Live With Regis and Kelly. He deserves a break: Regis has been on TV since 1847 and is 784 years old. (Not really.) In 2004, he set the Guinness record for most lifetime hours spent in front of a television camera. (Really!) His current show, which he first hosted with Kathie Lee Gifford and now with Kelly Ripa, is a daytime television mainstay. Will it survive without Regis? Can he ever be replaced by a different host? We’re not sure, but we have some suggestions.
