Easter Is A $14.7 Billion Holiday

Happy Easter from The Grindstone! We thought we’d celebrate by showing you much of your hard-earned money you are spending on this day. According to this infographic from DegreeSearch.org, households across America spend just shell it out ($14.7 billion) on jelly beans, decorations and chocolate (90 million chocolate bunnies are made for Easter each year.) In terms of chocolate consumption Easter manages to top Valentine’s Day in terms of consumption of chocolate but comes right behind Halloween. Check out the infographic below. Thanks to our friends at TheJaneDough for pointing this out.
