5 Tips For Dressing For Work When You’re Busty

Being a curvy is a beautiful thing, but when you’re busty like Christina Hendricks, it can be easy to transform a wholesome J.Crew sweater into a sexy blouse. Sultriness is not something you want to project at the office. When dressing for work, try to show your curves without overemphasizing them. Structured looks and any style that elongates your torso and neck will be incredibly flattering.

When your outfit is tailored and styled in a way that makes you feel good about yourself, you exude confidence. Of course every lady has a unique shape and it’s not always easy to find clothes for your frame that make you feel like standing in a conference room and giving a presentation.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “I have heard with admiring submission the experience of the lady who declared that the sense of being perfectly well dressed gives a feeling of inward tranquility which religion is powerless to bestow.”

Could you benefit from some inward tranquility? Here are 5 tips for how to be busty and perfectly well dressed for work.

IMO, sometimes a large chest needs balance so it presents as an asset instead of a distraction. Strong colors can help with this, especially in a skirt. Boots work well. Ditto the right haircut. That scarf in the slideshow is a great idea. Left by itself or overemphasized, a large chest can be like a callopie in a string quartet. Go for harmony, and achieve a cello instead.
And kudos for quoting Emerson! He’s one of humanity’s great thinkers, and time spent with his essays gives lasting perspective and tranquility.
