5 Fashion Trends To Leave Out Of Interviews

The days are long, the weather is hot, and your interview is looming. Whether this interview is in-person or through online video, you’ll have some serious sartorial choices to make. It’s stressful enough dressing for a normal job interview, but when you throw the high temperatures of summer into the mix things can get even more complicated.

After all, you want to look cool, confident, and self-possessed. These are hard attributes to convey when you’re sweating up a storm in uncomfortable clothing. Some summer job seekers, however, go a little too far in the other direction. With the June jobs report looking less than sunny, you can’t really afford not to put your best foot forward. And that foot should probably not be wearing beach sandals.
