It’s only been a little over a month since Marissa Mayer became the CEO of Yahoo but with the media exposure and all the articles written about her you would think it have been a year. She did have a rather memorable start considering she is one of the few women to run a Fortune 500 company, especially one in technology and then she announced she was already about four months pregnant. What I have noticed is that for every article written about how Yahoo’s stock is performing and her actual strategy to save the struggling company as CEO, there are five written about her pregnancy, her maternity leave, her sense of fashion and her personality. I suppose that comes with the territory but Marissa seems to have gotten herself some extra focus. Here are 7 things Marissa has been criticized for that haven nothing to do with her job performance.
