I don’t know if it’s just me but sometimes when I watch those Thanksgiving TV episodes, where no one ever seems to go home to their families (even if they like live down the street) and instead do dinner with their friends, I get a little jealous. Dinner with friends just seems like so much less work and funnier, though that may be because these are all comedies. Maybe you don’t get along with them or you are just on edge because of work and don’t want to deal with seeing cousins and their five children right now. As we saw on Saturday Night Live this week, going home is never perfect so we came up with some strategies for helping you get through it.
