If You Have A Big Signature, You May Not Get Into Business School

taylor_swift_cma_signing_autogIf you have an unusually large and sweeping signature, you are probably narcissistic and possibly running your company into the ground, according to new research from business professors at the University of Maryland and University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The study looked at the size of a chief executive officer’s signature on annual Securities and Exchange Commission filings to measure CEO narcissism. It was found that the larger the signature, the more correlation with company over-investment and subsequently lower forecast revenue and sales growth.
