If you’re looking for a job, get your behind to the Big Apple! New York City topped a list of 10 cities with the most employers hiring.
Glassdoor reports that New York City has over 13,000 employers looking for smart, hard workers like you. However, there was one issue that a lot of New Yorkers cited as a downside to working in the city that never sleeps: The city, well, never sleeps, and many workers complained of long hours and a wonky work-life balance.
Chicago came in at No. 2, with companies like Orbitz having home bases in the Windy City as well as positive reviews from employees. Los Angeles was No. 3, with the biggest hiring companies being in–surprise!–show biz. Washington, D.C. came in fourth place, with most open positions being in universities. San Francisco rounded out the top five courtesy of booming technology fields, including Twitter headquarters.
Rounding out the top 10, respectively, were Dallas-Forth Worth, Boston, Atlanta, Houston (home of Queen Bey herself, Beyonce) and Philadelphia.
