Bow down, bitches.
Beyonce was named Billboard‘s biggest moneymaker of 2016, based on album sales, streaming, touring, and publishing income, raking in a total of $62.1 million. She earned nearly $20 million more than Guns n’ Roses, who came in at No. 2 with $42.3 million.
Other female artists on the list include Adele at No. 5 with $37 million, Rihanna at No. 12 with $22.3 million, Carrie Underwood at No. 14 with $19.9 million, Barbra Streisand at No. 20 with $15.8 million, Jennifer Lopez at No. 31 with $12.17 million, Celine Dion at No. 37 with $10.85 million, Britney Spears at No. 39 with $10.7 million, Sia at No. 46 with $8.9 million, the inexplicable Selena Gomez at No. 47 with $8.8 million, Stevie Nicks at No. 49 with $8.21 million … and most surprisingly to those outside the country scene, the Dixie Chicks, who haven’t dropped an album in more than a decade, at No. 22, because they’re still a top touring act. Good on you, girls!
