The Business Etiquette Expert’s Guide To Regifting

The Business Etiquette Expert's Guide To Regifting

So you have now received a ton of gifts. Some were great, some were not so great (because those people didn’t read our Gift Guides probably.) So now has come the time for regifting. Pippa Middleton’s party planning business, Party Pieces, revealed that its customers are receiving delivery delays  because the firm’s courier, Yodel,  has been inundated with orders. For a little bit of entertainment at the end of this crazy holiday week we thought we would give you a holiday treat. A lovely staffer from Team CoCo sent me this great video of the man himself participating in his office’s secret santa. This is the first time Conan O’Brien has participated in Secret Santa because as he says he gives the “gift of employment.” But he’d thought he would give it a try this year. A Guide To Managing Your Relatives During The Holidays

A Guide To Managing Your Relatives During The Holidays

Do you have any relatives or friends that ruin everyone’s time on Xmas day or New Year’s Eve and you can’t un-invite them? Do you feel guilty at wishing they’ll either have other plans or be too sick to come? Do you wish there was a way to papertrain them so they don’t mess on everyone else’s good time?

To help you, a little, we came up with a few presents you should steer clear of when it comes to coworkers. More »

Putting On 'The Nutcracker': Meet The Woman Who Runs Carolina Ballet's Biggest Season

What is it about The Nutcracker ballet that still fascinates the world 120 years after it was originally performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. Even I, a skeptical New Yorker, find myself thinking it is not really the holiday season until I start listening to the amazing Tchaikovsky score (repeatedly and possibly right now.) I also can’t tear myself away from the television when they air a version of it on PBS. The Nutcracker will forever keep me a 7-year-old girl. More »
