Sarah Jessica Parker Appears To Be Playing The Opposite Of Anna Wintour On Glee

Though back in August we got very excited because we heard Sarah Jessica Parker’s Glee character, Isabelle Wright, a Vogue.com editor, was going to be based on Anna Wintour we may have gotten ahead of ourselves. From watching the clip below of tonitght’s episode I just don’t see Anna being quite so warm to an intern applicant who hasn’t even gone to college. Plus, the character seems to be proud of her Ohio roots which Anna clearly wouldn’t be and we all know Anna Wintour would never eat a restaurant called Breadsticks. More »

Sarah Jessica Parker's House Doesn't Meet The Anna Wintour Standard

Last night, Sarah Jessica Parker hosted a swanky fundraiser for President Obama in her West Village townhouse. Anna Wintour co-hosted, and attendees paid $40,000 a person to attend with fellow party-goers including Meryl Streep and Michael Kors. It was a big night, but surely Parker, if anyone, should have been prepared: She’s a New York City fashion icon who has been on the cover of Vogue and played a Vogue contributor on TV! But alas, according to today’s New York Post, her home decorating style didn’t exactly measure up to Vogue’s expectations.

Management Lessons From TV: What We Can Learn From 'Sex & The City's' Carrie Bradshaw

Though it has been pointed out, several times, that Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) is a selfish friend and would be horribly in debt if she wasn’t a fictional character, we must agree that she had a fabulous job. One that allowed her to literally prance around New York City in fabulous shoes all day, spewing out monologues to the viewers at home. Usually they included a question like, “And I couldn’t help but wonder, are we wearing shoes or are shoes really wearing us?” They just don’t write shows like that anymore. More »

Sarah Jessica Parker Opens Up About Balancing Her Career

Sarah Jessica Parker is gracing the cover of this month’s Marie Claire and is talking about balancing her hectic career and being a mother and wife. It just so happens that in Sarah’s next film, I Don’t Know How She Does It, she plays a woman struggling with being a high-up executive at a hedge fund and caring for her two children and husband. Her busy real life and demanding career may have helped her with the film which comes out next month (watch the trailer below). ”I love, love, love being an actor,” she says. “It’s still the hardest and scariest thing I do, outside of parenting. But I’ve always been someone who likes a busy day. I love the opportunities, and if I can manage my time and the children are okay and we’re okay, it’s hard to say no…” More »
